Events Committee

The Events Committee strives to bring a broad cross-section of topics and events to our members to educate and help our member businesses prosper.

The Committee shall be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Lunch, Learn & Leads
    1.    Identify and target speakers for meetings.
    2.    Create and distribute calendar for year.
    3.    Confirm speakers each month.
    4.    Arrange for location and all pertinent details (room setup, PowerPoint, additional equipment, etc.)
    5.    Arrange food sponsor. Food Sponsor will be given five minutes at the beginning of the program to talk about their company and they may distribute any marketing materials.
    6.    Provide event details in coordination with the  Communications Committee.
    7.    Welcome new members to events.
  2. Annual Dinner
    1.    Identify and target speakers for meetings
    2.    Arrange for location and all other details.
    3.    Arrange sponsors and any swag bags, door prizes, etc.
  3. Montgomery After 5
    1.    Arrange for locations and other details
    2.    Publicize events details in coordination with the Communications Committee.
    3.  Arrange for sponsors and any swag bags, door prizes, etc.
  4. Arrange and attend Ribbon Cuttings.
  5. Look for ways to partner with other area Chambers.
