1. What is your favorite part of your job?

Walking hand in hand with clients when they experience difficult life events. This can be the death of a loved one or even a divorce. I feel that is when we are the most valuable for our clients.

2. Do you or your business donate to any charities?  Which ones?

I donate to: River's Crossing Church, Kiwanis and St. Jude's.

3. What was the inspiration behind the business?

I was lucky to have an independent, entrepreneurial spirited mother. She was always trying new business ideas to keep us above water. She didn't have a lot to work with, but she was very creative and resourceful. She enjoyed the challenge and always kept a sense of humor about things.

4. What are the three most important things about your business?

Working with my team members, serving our clients and improving our service and management offerings.

5. If you could explain your business in the simplest way, how would you?

We help our clients and their families grow and protect their wealth.

6. What is your key to success?

Be mindful of your time. Know your competition and understand your respective marketplace. Leverage your resources.

7. What is one of your favorite client stories?

My favorite client stories involve happy events such as retirement of funding college expenses. The most important events involve being there for our widows/widowers. I'm also an attorney, which allows me to work effectively with trusts and estates.

8. What is your favorite place to eat in Montgomery?

Forno Osteria and Stone Creek

9. Best advice anyone has given you?

Be mindful of your weaknesses and guard against them.

10. What is your favorite part about being a member of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce?

Julie Lyon (she's a rockstar!) Also, loved the Vegas in the Village event. We got to meet and see a lot of great businesses in Montgomery.

11. What is one of your favorite quotes?

"Head up, feet movin'!"
