What is your favorite part of your job?

That would be talking to people.  I've always loved talking/joking/listening/interacting with people.  I guess that's why I've stayed in this industry.  Everyday is a new set of people.

Do you or your business donate to any charities? Which ones? Why?

We try to spread our donations across the board.  I personally like being a part of the special needs category.  In the past, I've taken my food truck to Stepping Stones and really enjoyed serving both the attendees and the workers.  In the future, we'll try to continue to contribute to those doing good work in that arena.

What is your key to success?

Hard work and a great product.  Good combo.

Do you have any hobbies or activities of interest? What are they?

I enjoy sitting on a beach.  If that's a hobby, then I'm pretty good at it.  I lived in Florida and Aruba for a spell.  Good places for my hobby.

Describe Yourself in Three Words.

Sarcastic. Dedicated. Sarcastic.

Best advice anyone has given you?

So many to pick from.  I think almost everything my mother has told me would be my best.  She's been my inspiration for all that I've done this past decade.  All the words of advice and encouragement have brought me to where I am now.

Name on short term goal.

What is your favorite part of being a member of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce?

Connecting to my community through great neighbors, business owners and leaders.

Favorite place to eat in Montgomery?

When I am not eating at burgers here, I try and go to FOND.  Ethan is an incredible chef and I've not had a bad meal there yet. He does it right, every time.

Favorite things about owning a business in Montgomery?

The people.  I took my truck to the Montgomery Farm Market for 5 years.  Enjoyed coming here then.  Great mix of people here in Montgomery.

Favorite things about being a Montgomery Chamber Member?

Well, so far it's been the support they've given and offered.  I rarely take them up on all they offer, mostly because I'm so busy.  Nice to know that they're there when I'm ready.

Favorite Cincinnati Brewery or Cincinnati Hangout?

Madtree

Favorite thing to cook and not on the menu?

Ribs and Chicken Marsala.

Have you read a book recently that you would recommend?

Well, I've not done much reading, especially since starting the restaurant.  The last book I read was called IN and OUT.  It's a biography of the fast food burger concept called In and Out, out west.  Good read and good business learning.  I picked it up before starting my food truck
