What is your favorite part of your job?

Creating something for my clients that will last for generations.

What was the inspiration behind the business? Or what is your personal inspiration?

One day I looked around for a beautiful portrait of my mother from her 20’s or 30’s and found none. I also would have loved to be photographed with my parents and siblings in a special way but all we have are snap shots. I wanted to provide what I didn’t have to others.

What are the three most important things about your business?

            •          Client experience and service

            •          Freedom to be oneself

            •          Empowerment of women

If you could explain your business in the simplest way, how would you?

I help others see themselves in ways that they likely have never seen themselves before.

What is your key to success?

Speaking in my true authentic voice and serving from a place of love and sincerity.

If you could take one person’s picture who would it be and why?

My grandmother. I would want the world to see how beautiful she was.

What is one of your favorite client stories?

A recent client wanted to have her daughter photographed. Her daughter is very introverted and lacks self-confidence. Throughout the shoot it was not easy to get good expression from her. But the images captured pleased the daughter so much that she (uncharacteristically) phones her friends to share the images her from the session. For a moment in time she felt free to be herself and she was proud of the way she looked. The satisfaction I get from that is unparalleled.

Name one short term goal.

To hire an associate photographer.

Best advice anyone has given to you.

Stop worrying.

Do you have any special services you offer Montgomery Chamber of Commerce members?

$200 gift voucher good for use toward any a la carte portrait print, or package.

What is your favorite part about being a member of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce?

The members are so welcoming with warm smiles and handshakes.

What is your favorite place to eat in Montgomery?

Montgomery Inn.

Do you or your business donate to any charities? Which ones? Why?

Starfire because of the special place in my heart occupied by the developmentally challenged.

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?

All hearts would feel love and compassion for their fellow man and woman.

What is one of your favorite quotes?

“Beware the flatterer: he feeds you with an empty spoon.” - Cosino DeGregrio

Describe yourself in three words.

Loving, focused, and chill.

If you could be talented at anything instantly what would it choose?

Piano.

Do you have any hobbies or activities of interest? What are they?

I enjoy hiking and traveling.

Where is your favorite hangout spot in Cincinnati?

Smale Riverfront Park.

What is your favorite Cincinnati area craft brewer?

Madtree.
