What is your favorite part or your job? My favorite thing about my job is helping people to discover and enjoy making music. I also love hearing all of our students' progress and achievements when they perform in our Student Recitals. Those events are always very special and inspiring.

What is your key to success? One of our keys to success is having systems in place that ensure consistency and efficiency in our business. Another key to success is having great people on our staff. We are fortunate to have amazingly hardworking and friendly office staff as well as a large team of extremely talented and experienced music instructors who provide a wonderful learning experience for our students.

Do you have any hobbies or activities of interest? What are they? When we're not working on our business (which is one of our favorite things to do!) or playing piano, we love spending time with our two year old daughter. We are also eagerly awaiting and preparing for the birth of our second daughter, who is due in February!

If you could meet anyone, who would it be? Beethoven. He is one of the greatest and most important composers in the history of music, and his music has been deeply important and impactful to me throughout my life.

If you could have any superpower what would it be? Being in multiple places at once.

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be? I would eliminate violence.

What is one of your favorite quotes? "To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time." -Leonard Bernstein

Best advice anyone has given you? When I was in college, my dad told me that life will bring challenges, and it's my choice how I let each challenge affect me. I can either let it bring me down or I can come away from it stronger than before.

What is your favorite hangout spot in Cincinnati? I love downtown Cincinnati because it offers such a rich cultural scene for music, art, and dining.

What is your favorite thing about owning a business in Montgomery? I love Montgomery's charm, walkability, and the wide array of shopping and dining options in such a conveniently located area. I also love how tightly knit and friendly the community is.
