What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of owning a real estate business is that I get to do something I love everyday.  We love real estate and I love serving people.  Most people are going through life transitions when they need to buy or sell a home and we are there to help them through that transition with respect, joy and love.

Do you or your business donate to any charities? Which ones? Why?

Our team has served most recently with Operation Give Back.  We have supported the golf outing and helped organize the Christmas Store supplies.  This is a great charity to support!

What is your key to success?

The Tye Group is about 13 years old and we have helped buy or sell about 1,200 homes.  Our mission is to be excellent at what we do and serve people with joy and love.

Do you have any hobbies or activities of interest? What are they?

I love to play sand volleyball and have been playing almost every week for 20 years. I also enjoy spending time with my wife Jessica and our 5 children.  They are in 5 different Sycamore Schools this year!

What is one of your favorite quotes?

“Work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls- family, health, friends, integrity- are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered.” - Gary Keller

Best advice anyone has given you?

My mom always told me that people would forget what you have done and will always remember how you made them feel.  She said everyone has a sign over their head that says “make me feel important”.  I haven’t forgot those things.

Describe yourself in three words.

Christian, Husband, Father.

Where did you grow up?

In the eastern suburbs of Greater Cincinnati in Eastgate/Union Township

Have you read a book recently that you would recommend?

“Never Split the Difference” by Chris Voss

What is your favorite part of being a member of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce?

Connecting to my community through great neighbors, business owners and leaders.

What is your favorite place to eat in Montgomery?

Carlo and Johnny.  Best steak, live music and cool atmosphere.
