What is your favorite part of your job?

We are really excited to offer a space for people who faced the same issues we have both faced in our businesses: finding support, creating a network of inspiring people, having a dependable, professional place to work and meet clients, and tapping into low-cost or free professional and personal development opportunities.

What is your key to success?

Find your tribe! We all need to surround ourselves with people who inspire us to be better and think bigger. It’s also critical to know how and when to ask for help—and to not be ashamed to ask for advice.

What is one of your favorite quotes?

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford

Do you have one short term goal?

We would love for The Space to become a central part of the small business community here in Montgomery and the surrounding areas. We have the potential to serve small businesses and owners in a lot of great ways, and we only get stronger as we add more people to our community.

What is best advice anyone has given you?

Remember that where your focus goes, your energy flows. So, if you’re consistently focused on the negative things happening in your personal or professional life, your energy is going to be spent in those areas. If you focus on turning a new page or growth or personal improvement, your energy will follow suit.

What is your favorite part about owning a business in Montgomery?

The walk-ability of downtown Montgomery, where The Space is located, is amazing. We can take a break and pop into the local restaurants, have happy hours down the street, grab a gift for a friend or client…it can all be done in a matter of a few blocks.

What is your favorite part about being a member of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce?

The opportunity to get connected to more businesses and people who have great ideas. There’s a lot of interesting people in our community and being a part of the Chamber allows us to meet those people. Plus, it’s a great avenue to market our events and grow awareness for our business. Come check us out!

Describe Yourself In Three Words.

We would describe The Space Community Workplace with our three pillars of development: Connect, Grow, Learn

What is your favorite hangout spot in Cincinnati?

The Space Community Workplace (obviously!)

Have you read a book recently that you would recommend?

We’ve both recently read and would recommend two business books; "Built to Sell" by John Warrillow and "Profit First" by Mike Michalowicz.
