TriHealth Pavilion

Opened in 1997, the 110,000 sq. ft. TriHealth Fitness and Health Pavilion has been a pioneer in offering medically based fitness to Greater Cincinnati and continues to set the standard for excellence in disease prevention, exercise, rehabilitation and wellness education. The TriHealth Pavilion is Ohio’s first certified medical fitness facility recognized by the Medical Fitness Association and was recently awarded  Cincinnati Consumer’s Choice Award for excellence in customer service. The center brings together a full range of over 100 pieces of exercise equipment, 110 land and water group exercise classes per week and weekly wellness education programs as well as credentialed health and fitness professionals to provide members and guests a quality experience as they work toward attaining their fitness goals for life. Expert guidance from professional personnel, innovative health enhancement programs and integration of medical, rehabilitative, holistic and fitness services are all delivered in a clean, safe, non-intimidating  and service-oriented environment.

Get to know Deb Riggs, General Manager

What is your favorite part or your job? 
Witnessing the health and fitness improvements of our members as they achieve their goals. I really enjoy getting to know our members on a personal basis so I understand their wellness goals and watch them achieve them over time; many of whom have been members since we opened 19 years ago.

Do you or your business donate to any charities?  Yes 
Which ones? Over 40 non-profit organizations, churches, schools etc…Why? To be good partners and supporters of the businesses and organizations of the community we serve.

What is your key to success? 
The Pavilion has experienced much success due to the quality staff we have who are dedicated and passionate about helping others. They are well-educated experts in their field and provide quality programs and services that assist members in achieving their fitness best in a safe and enjoyable manner. The Pavilion’s positive, caring  and uplifting environment lends itself  to a place members want to come to for their workouts.

Do you have any hobbies or activities of interest? What are they? 

If you could meet anyone, who would it be? 
Bob Hope – he was funny, worldly and a very genuine giving person

If you could get anything for free for the rest of your life what would it be? 
Hotel accommodations

If you could have any superpower what would it be? 
To cure all diseases

If you could change one thing about the world what would it be? 
Rid the world of terrorism and war. (To quote the Miss America pageant candidates “World Peace”!)

If you could be talented at anything instantly what would you choose? 
To be an accomplished pianist

What is one of your favorite quotes? 
“With adversity comes opportunity” and “Everything happens for a reason”

Best advice anyone has given you? 
To be willing to take a risk in life

Faith-driven, loyal and determined

Where did you grow up? 
Cincinnati- Western Hills

What is a show on TV that you can’t miss? 
Biggest Loser – I love to watch people transform their lives

What is your favorite movie? 
“The Sound of Music” – I’ve seen it a hundred times and visited the sights in Salzburg twice. Besides being a wonderful family movie, it’s filled with themes about taking risks, staying true to heart and following your dreams.

Money is not an option what type of car would you buy and drive? 
BMW convertible

Money is not an option where would you go on a 2 week vacation?
Tahiti – the South Pacific

What is your favorite thing about owning a business in Montgomery? 
The wonderful support system that’s available whenever we need it from Fire and Police Departments and City Management as a whole
